Conn 6M VIII Naked Lady Alto Saxophone Serial 295930 1942 rolled tone holes
Conn 6M VIII Naked Lady Alto Saxophone Serial 295930 1942 rolled tone holes. This saxophone is in playing condition, and it has recently been adjusted professionally and one pad was replaced (top c pad). It has some pads that are older and some newer, but its currently in playing condition. That being said, I don't know the last time it has been repadded or overhauled, so some pads may be closer to needing replacement than others. But the repairman told me it currently doesn't need a full repad. There are a few very minor dings on the bottom, but for the most part the horn is in very good condition. There are some imperfections in the finish, but most of the finish is still remaining. This saxophone has been re-lacquered at some point, but it appears to not have been buffed.

The engraving is readable, and the naked lady is visible. The neck strap hook has been replaced, but the part was taken from another Conn alto that I had for parts to repair other Conn horns. The microtuner does turn, but it doesn't turn very much. It would need some attention to get it to turn enough to affect the tuning.

The neck still performs perfectly without using the microtuner. The neck is also stamped viii. There is no mouthpiece included. Also there isn't a neck plug, but I will pack the sax securely inside the case.
