The logo on the bell says "The Martin Alto". (serial # matches on the neck and the body) I believe this is a "Committiee III" model.Included is a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece w/ ligature & a neck strap. I have checked a couple of Martin serial # charts, and I believe this sax was made in 1948. Included is the case pictured. As a vintage instrument, I don't want to overstate the playing condition. However, check out the photos that show the condition of the pads. I have checked the saxophone with a leak light and have made a few adjustments. I can play the sax chromatically from high C down to low Bb. For best performance, you may need to have the sax checked out and repaired as necessary.
In the bell area where the logo is, there is a lot of engraving. (hard to see details in the photos because of the finish wear) Please examine the photos closely to best determine the condition of the finish. There are no missing or broken parts. There is a photo that shows a patch near the bottom of the bell curve. The case does not say Martin - it is in good working condition. If you have questions concerning the condition of the sax or if you need additional photos, please feel free to ask.
