1938 King Zephyr Special - meticulously restored by Bill Singer (NY). "Full pearls" though quite warn and some replaced. The bare brass and warn pearls indicate that this is very much a "player's horn, " showing years of use, though it recently received a top notch rebuild/overhaul by Mr. Singer, including Reso-tech flat brass resonators.

Silver neck serial number matches the horn. If you know these horns you know the details and you know why they are sought after, and quite rare.

Pictures show what is left of the original pearl "inlay, " which show significant wear. The palm "F" pearl appears to have been replaced, as well as the notes B, A, F, E, and D.

The cork on the octave pearl can be removed - I only added it for comfort. There is soldering next to the thumb rest, which Bill said was rock solid.
