This 1938 King Zephyr alto sax is in great playing condition. Our repair shop replaced the necessary pads, key corks, adjusted, oiled and play tested this horn to put it in good playing condition. There are some dents, dings and scratches but nothing serious enough to affect the way this horn plays. The lacquer finish is not original.

This horn was completely overhauled about 10-12 years ago with new Epoxy lacquer, all new black kangaroo pads, key corks and neck cork. I know this because we were asked to overhaul it by our customer. The overhaul was done professionally in our shop with-out buffing on the nice engraving so the engraving is very nice with lots of detail.

The serial number on this horn is 202605. A nice SKB case, a mouthpiece, ligature and cap will be included.
