If you wonder of a rarity of the SBA altos, there were almost 80000 Mark VI altos while SBA altos only 12000... This saxophone is definitely a unique example. It has original lacquer with about 60% left. It was unengraved when it left the factory but we added a fresh, beautiful engraved based on the original SBA engraving patterns. Please have a look at the video, in person it looks only better. The saxophone has just been overhauled using the best pads, felts, corks.

To give it a great feel as in the newer saxophones - all of the springs in the posts were changed to a harder ones. The action is just the best you can get. There is 12 months guarantee to this job. About its' sound - we compared it to other 52' SBA and 54', 55', 57', 59' Mark VI's we have in our shop.

This SBA has definitely the widest dynamics with super sound. You will love it from the very first note. If you are searching for the great alto saxophone - this is the one!
