Cosmetically, this sax has about 90-95% of its original lacquer. There are minor some signs of wear and some small scratches, but it really is in beautiful condition. It plays perfectly from the low Bb to the altissimo range. The pads are older, but they are still covering perfectly, and the sax has a beautifully rich and complex sound.
These Martin Committee model saxes reside at the apex of American saxophone manufacturing. If you are looking for a great sounding, American-made instrument, you will not be disappointed. Comes with the original neck (w/ matching serial number), original brass neck-plug, and the original case.As with most old sax cases, there is a very slight smell but it is minor! If it comes to less, I will reimburse the difference. If it comes to more, I will pay the difference. No buyers outside of the contiguous U.
