This is an'early Babbitt' era Link from the 1970's. It has the distinctive'clamshell' baffle, which extends about half an inch back from the tip. It also has'denim' mill markings on the table.
It is marked 9 on the side, and the tip opening measures a monsterous. That is a huge tip opening for alto, so it will take some serious chops (and a light reed) to control. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak.The only'flaw' is that the rubber is slightly discolored, which is purely cosmetic in nature. This is due to lack of available transportation ie. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time.
