SELMER PARIS REFERENCE 54 ALTO SAXOPHONE - BIRD SERIES FLAMINGO EDITION MINT. This one is the 2007 Bird Series limited edition for Africa. No high F# so it plays beautiful and more open than my other References and is as sweet as any vintage Mark VI. I played this one over my at brother's house one Sunday not too long ago and it has that beautiful Selmer Paris Sound. I love collecting horns so this one doesn't get much use at all since it's been in my possession.

You can either play it or add it to your collection. You know, they didn't select just any horn for the Bird Series limited edition Saxophones but they were hand picked and Engraved by hand (not a lazer) to become part of a Collector Series. So this is not just any horn but pulled from production and made special.

Think of the future and you are the proud owner of a limited edition Selmer. Everyone cannot be the proud owner of one of these because not many were made. So now you have my opinion on this matter. Yes you can still play it if you promise to keep it in mint condition.
