His listing is for a vintage Berg Larsen hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpiece. This mouthpiece dates to the late 1960's or early 70's. It is stamped 80 1 M on the shank.

These markings are in the old typewriter font, with the'M' offset, and stamped at a bit of an angle, which is common for this vintage. 005 smaller than the number would indicate, and this one is no exception. This mouthpiece is in overall very good used condition.

The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There is a minor tooth gouge on the beak, which you may want to have filled with epoxy and smoothed. The rubber is discolored from age. This mouthpieces comes with its original brass cap and ligature. The ligature has some minor corrosion, but is in otherwise fine condition.

It has not been bent out of shape, and the screws work properly. The cap has some minor stress cracks in it, but it is still quite useable. The original mouthpiece box is also included. This is due to lack of available transportation ie.
