Vintage Yamaha YAS-61 Professional Alto Saxophone with Original Case

Yamaha YAS-61 Professional Alto Saxophone. This saxophone is one of the first professional models that put Yamaha on the map, and established themselves as the world leader in professional wind instruments. I don't know the exact manufacturing date however I think it was early to mid 1980's.

It will make a great horn for any comeback player, advancing student or professional player. The saxophone is in good playing condition. Minor adjustments might be desired to meet your personal touch presences, but good general playing condition. Cosmetic blemishes include some missing lacquer, minor pitting, surface scratches and normal wear. The end of the bell has a minor bend in it, this can be viewed in photo number 11. Included is the original case which shows wear but is structurally sound. The latches do need manual assistance to open and close.
