Just a couple of little scratches in the lacquer, mostly on the player's side, a couple tiny pings in the bell, and the Yamaha logo fell off of the neck. Low Bb is easy to subtone, plays into the altissimo and it has FANTASTIC intonation in the upper range. Technically this is Yamaha's "Intermediate" model, but those who've played them know that the 52 can stand up to most pro level instruments.
